This article analyzes the interactions on the dance floor, especially the experiences related to the electronic music scene. The dance floor is an attractive topic to inquire the relations of subjects with music and among the subjects as part of an activity that puts the body as central interest. Firstly, it develops a characterization of the concept of scene, which is relevant to think musical cultures. Secondly, we reflect on ways of interaction in the dance floor and about the importance of the sound and movement in this experience. Finally, we suggest some ways to think how mediatization of culture modifies the perceptual and bodily experiences from different technological devices.
