This paper studies the newspaper Río Negro discourse about the Zanon’s workers when they occupied the factory and began it’s self management. The methodology used is the tridimentional conception of discourse (Fairclough, 1992; 2003). According to this conception, discourses are analysed as texts that realizes in discourse practices that realizes in social practices. The analysis is organized according to the three kind of meanings that are generated from the three Systemic Functional Linguistics’ metafunctions and that classifie the meaning potential: textual, ideational and interpersonal.
