Abstract
FRANCO SALVI, Valeria L.; SALAZAR, Julián and BERBERIAN, Eduardo E.. Theoretical Reflection about the Formative and its Implications for the Study of "Tafí Del Valle" During the FirstMillenium A.D. Andes [online]. 2009, vol.20, n.2. ISSN 1668-8090.
Archaeological studies dealing with first social contexts based on productive economies, tended to homogenise and relegate historical past under categories made upon alien realities, as the "Formative" concept. Archaeological researches developed in the last decades in Tafí Valley, feature phenomena that oppose or restrict this model's explicative scope. Its application limitations entail the necessity of building a vision focused in agency and local diversity. We propose a few working hypothesis that could improve our historical process discourse without reducing it to general, aprioristically built features.
Keywords : Formative; Archaeological Record; Agency Theory; Tafí Valley.
