From the analysis of the contributions to Nevados del Aconquija site (Parque Nacional Campo de Los Alisos, Tucumán, Argentina) and a survey aimed to evaluate the cultural resources conservation, we present some considerations about different aspects related to the material and symbolic appropriation of this part of Sierra del Aconquija by the Inka State.
