Abstract

BOLSI, Francisco. Balance and methodological contributions of family studies in Argentine North West, 1990-2005: An analysis of the different approaches for the late colonial period and the XIXth century. Andes [online]. 2010, vol.21, n.2, pp.319-341. ISSN 1668-8090.

The family history like average originated in the European continent, in fact in England and France, at the beginning of 1970 with the purpose of responding problematic that had not been answered until that moment. These new paradigms influenced to the rest of the European and American academic circles. In this sense, the fundamental purpose of this work is to carry out a balance of the methodological contributions of the family studies in the context of the Argentinean Northwest among 1990 and 2005 and the thematic ones analyzed for the colonial period and the XIX century.
