Abstract

PAULIZZI, Cora. Resistance and self-government practices of unemployed workers union of General Mosconi - Salta: A critical approach. Andes [online]. 2016, vol.27, n.1, pp.00-00. ISSN 1668-8090.

Following the path of Foucault’s thinking and its legacy in Latin America, this paper proposes a critical approach to the practices of resistance and self-government of the Union of Unemployed Workers of General Mosconi, Salta. It starts from the analysis of power relations and mechanisms from a heterarchical and strategic perspective, ie. a non-hierarchical and non-dialectical one. The objective of the work is to analyze the unique practices and processes of resistance of the UTD Mosconi, while challenging the order imposed in an open, shifting and relational web. These power practices and logics, knowing and being, operate as resistances in a certain way. First of all, UTD's experience is local and changing, spreading extensively at local, regional and national levels, while what is at issue is the power and ways of exercising it. Therefore, resistance is not synonymous with revolution, whose vertical character seeks to annihilate power from the origin. The above is done from a genealogical and ethnographic perspective of analysis, in a critical dialogue with the different social science trends researching in the subject.
