Abstract

VEZZOSI, José Vicente. Priests, military men and caudillos in Santiago ¿conservative peronism?: A state of the question with regard to the origins of peronism in the inland of Argentina). Andes [online]. 2017, vol.28, n.2, pp.00-00. ISSN 1668-8090.

This paper seeks to take up the long discussion about the origins of Peronism, providing a critical review of the state of the question that includes "extracentral interpretations" in order to escape from the hermeneutical crossroads in which the current discussion is: the pendular and mutually exclusive interpretive logic between the axes rupture/continuity. Considering the issue from the progress made in a study referred to the emergence of Peronism in Santiago del Estero, the article proposes to recover the construction of Peronism as a social fact in a critical way; it also considers the need to do relational and situated readings on the issue and proposes some methodological elements that would allow to avoid interpretive crossroads.

Keywords : Peronism; Santiago del Estero; Rupture/continuity.
