Abstract

LAZZARI, Axel C.. Indigenous territorying: Onto-political conflicts in the process of territorial recognition of a rankülche community (La Pampa, Argentina). Andes [online]. 2018, vol.29, n.1, pp.00-00. ISSN 1668-8090.

This article deals with the onto-political conflicts arising from the process of recognition of a rankülche Indigenous territory in the West of the province of La Pampa. We analyze some controversies triggered by the deployment of the official Territorial Survey of Indigenous Communities from the standpoint of a conflict between a State territorying and an Indigenous one. Throughout the study we experiment with models of the ontological turn in anthropology, especially Bruno Latour s theory of actor-network and modes of existence.

Keywords : Territory; Ontological turn; Indigenous peoples; Latin America.
