The aim of this article is to introduce some hypotheses about the origins of the Radical Party (1891) in Salta. The research team from ''Argentinean History III'', History School. U.N.Sa. (National University of Salta) has developed these hypotheses as integral part of a larger piece of research obaut the provincial political system, including Proyect N` 330 from C.I.U.N.Sa (Research Committee from the U.N.Sa) named: ''Radicalism and Peronism in Salta: Strategies of social penetration in their Origen. Compared Studies''. The present research deals with a topic which has not been much investagated by the local historians. Using gramscian categories, we have approached the analysis of the mediation of a newly born layer of ''organic intellectuals'', within the context of the division of the provincial bourgeoisie. In our opinion this new cap of intellectual organic in a first moment, tries to articulating the interest of the different groups front to the National State, in a second instance, with the economic end crisis of the '80 and the difficulties of the integration, is produced a break in the provincial dominant block - also break of the intellectual block -. A fraction reinforces the domination on the excluding way society, while, the other fraction questioning the oligarchical form that acquires the exercise of the power give rise to the Radical Civic Union.
