Abstract

SANTILLAN, Miguel A.. The theoretical terms in science. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2000, n.15, pp.121-125. ISSN 1668-8104.

The growth of a scientistic, the discovery of new phenomena and their new interrelations lead to the development of an especialized conceptual system with an increasing degree of abstraction. The presence of non-observational words in these disciplines is inevitable and to deny it could cause serious consequences to science. A great number of these words constitute the domain of theretical terms whose applicability is related to the theory they conform. The so called natural sciences and social sciences cannot do without using theoretical terms.
