Abstract

RODRIGUEZ, Susana Alicia Constanza. The literary studies: interdisciplinary space. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2001, n.16, pp.139-147. ISSN 1668-8104.

The conception of what is literary as result of historical processes and social conventions on reading has been strengthened since the last ten years, disarticulating the traditional types of knowledge in relation to literature. Then, the cultural-semiotic approach, supported by diverse theoretical proposals, prevails in the research work. Three issues thus arise: an ontological one, a epistemological one and a theory of reading, that correspond respectively to the object of the literary studies, the theories that deal with this object, and the reading practice. This work intends to develop these three levels mentioned and reflects on the possibilities that may arise if we consider the literary textuality in relation to the other cultural texts.
