Abstract

POSTIGO DE CAFFE, Clemencia; LAMBRISCA, Beatriz; HERNANDEZ, Clarisa A.  and  CHECA, Luisa E. Symbolic producion in narrative griten discourses by school children. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2004, n.22, pp.33-45. ISSN 1668-8104.

In this paper we pretend to let this research project be known; our team belongs to the Educational science carrier at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Jujuy. In Educational Psychology our research work,is centered on the symbolic production aims at studying how children construct reality out of narrative written discourses. That is why we formulate the following objectives: To know how school children organize their narrative written discourse and how marks of subjectivity are expressed. To discover how school children look at and focus on the world and reality from their written narrations. That is why, we thought it necessary to find out how they organize their written discourses and how marks are imprinted by the subject in each utterance, understanding that the symbolic production include the set of representations through which a subject tells us about their peculiar interpretation of reality. Among the subject's symbolization functions, we consider language as one of the most important functions, since culture is supported by symbolic procedures, concepts and distinctions that can be carried out by language. When children start school, they have already been able to speak their mother tongue, their being capable of speaking a language lets them communicate orally without any difficulty, but it is not possible to do it in a written form; when constructing a written narration, children face problems at expression level as well as content level: That is why we analyze the level of formal organization as well as that of content, being this the central purpose of this investigation.

Keywords : Symbolic produccion; Narrative griten discourses.
