Abstract

GALLI, José María. Educational transformation, fragmentation and psychic conflict. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2004, n.22, pp.47-56. ISSN 1668-8104.

This paper tries to offer some personal conclusions about focused health concepts in the subjetivity plane, i.e., considering what is now called mental health, my conclusions are articulated with the concrete analysis of identity contradictions that teachers in Jujuy have when confronted with the Educational Transformation process (ET) Our notions of pyquic and mental health are based on the concept that a human-being is a bio-social-psychological unity, and what is more, the ideas people have of the body and even its function are conditioned by social organizations so more than a "relation" between health and social sciences, we understand that the former one is a social notion (consequently it is historical), and that once the organizational narrowness is overcome it is trated in the latter field. Analyses of identity conflicts of teachers form part of a project of research that has been developed, since 1998, by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences in Jujuy (UNJu). The reseach project is called "Teachers´Identity Models in the Educational Transformation.. Teachers in Jujuy and their social context". This report has served as a stimulus to treat the topic from a mental health angle, on the basis of a pisyquic conflict.
