The main objective of this paper is to achieve a first approximation to the study of the production of the cultural knowledge. This latter is realized from the writing of chacareras of Santiago in order to rediscover new conceptual lines of our culture. The production of the cultural knowledge in the folklore of Santiago shows a reconstruction and recreation of traditional feelings, experiences and contextual conditions that reveal an identity produced as an emergency of acceptations, differences, junctions, integration in semiotic borders emerging from our life experiences. This paper is placed in the context of a study of cases of chacareras, characterized by corresponding to different historical times, which will facilitates to notice , from a discoursive analysis, the presence of similarities and differences of the popular knowledge in Santiago. This work is justified because it allows to discover possible changes, that are expressed in the production of the system of meanings of a culture. At the same time, it is observed that judgments and values are reactualized and are maintained from the tradition in the processes of judgément production.
