Abstract

VERGA, José Luis; FORZINETTI, María Elena  and  ZAPATA ALVAREZ, Ana María. Education-learning mode, integrating research-teaching, applied to exercise on neighborhood zoning and formulating proposals 'village for all'. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2016, n.49, pp.63-84. ISSN 1668-8104.

'Diagnosis of terrestrial communication pathways, as barriers or centralities, in the sectorization of neighborhoods. Case Villa Luro' is a research project initiated in 2012, which is linked to the subject Architectural Design, Planning and Urbanism II, 5th year, Civil Engineering, UTN.BA that, since 2010, works the subject of 'Open village' with different characteristics each year.             In fact, in 2012, the problem of barriers is taken as a reference and the 'Village for all' is proposed as a practical working issue, where barriers to discrimination are not present.             The intention of this work is to show the importance of the research-teaching conjunction in the implementation of an alternative teaching-learning mode for the future engineer.             The problem of the barriers, transferred from the research, makes their verification possible in an exercise, through a field study as a neighborhood survey but also, the accomplishment of an evaluative analysis of them in human agglomerations, a situation that has allowed the students to understand the scope of the conflict and explore possible design and technology solutions that could be applied to achieve equality among villagers.             In DAPyU II  an alternative way of the teaching is implemented, different from to the one use in other subjects of the career, allowing a technological formation strongly linked society, urbanism and environment, particular view supported by the Department of Civil Engineering, with important criteria adopted among levels of management in different public and private universities
