Abstract

This paper aims at contextualizing poetry in the aristotelic reflection in such a way that it can be articulated in the curriculum to educate a human of integrity. For such purpose, Aristotle's Poetics needs to subject of an assessment in terms of educational standards. Therefore, this inquire may allow to place poetry in the standardization of knowledge as done in the Metaphysics. Likewise, by using as reference the Seventh and Eighth Books of Politics, it may serve to determine the pertinence of poetry in the journey of the zoon politikon for the pursuit of the personal, as well as, the collective wellness
