A deep understanding of organizational culture is a key aspect in the management of universities. Thus, since it provides members with an unconscious and socially shared reference framework that guides their way of perceiving, interpreting, and reacting to events, it also influences the individual and organizational rationalities underlying the decision-making process. Furthermore, and drawn on the cultural dynamics model, organizational culture requires to be examined in connection with organizational identity and image. This article aims to describe the organizational culture, identity, and image of an Argentinian public university, by using a case study approach that combines quantitative (a self-report questionnaire was completed by 63 scholars and 9 members of the support staff) and qualitative strategies for data collection (two focus groups were conducted with scholars and one with members of the support staff).
