Abstract
SCRIBANO, F.R and GARCETE, V. Eficiencia de fungicidas de síntesis y orgánicos sobre la pudrición de corona del fruto de banano Musa acuminata Colla en la provincia de Formosa, Argentina. RIA. Rev. investig. agropecu. [online]. 2016, vol.42, n.2, pp.201-206. ISSN 1669-2314.
Banana fruit quality during harvest stage, conditioning and marketing is affected by fungal diseases caused mainly by genera Colletotrichum, Fusarium, Penicillium and by poor handling of the fruit, which produces high post-harvest losses. In this study we examined the efficacy of synthetic and organic fungicides in the control of crown rot of banana fruit. Synthetic fungicides capable of controlling crown rot were identified. The results showed that two of the treatments with synthetic fungicides (Azoxystrobin and Tebuconazole + Carbendazim) were statistically superiors and the organic fungicide was not significantly different from the control.
