Abstract
PUERTA, A.V. et al. Calidad de plantines de pak choi (Brassica rapa L. Grupo Chinensis) según tamaño de celda de la bandeja de germinación. RIA. Rev. investig. agropecu. [online]. 2020, vol.46, n.3, pp.310-313. ISSN 1669-2314.
This work aims to study the effect of cell size on pak choi (Brassica rapa L., Grupo Chinesis) seedling quality at transplanting. The experiment was carried out under greenhouse in Luján (Buenos Aires). Pak choi cv. Sun Boy was sown in planter flats of 21, 11 and 5 cm.cells. Shoots, roots, plant dry weight, leaf area, lineal length of root and root absorption area were registered. The experiment design was a randomized complete block with four replications, and data were subjected to analysis of variance and Tukey`s Test (p≤0.05). Seedlings grown in 21 cm. cells reached significantly higher dry weight of leaves, root and plant, lineal length and absorption area of roots, contrasted to plants from 5 cm. cells. Leaf area increased significantly according to progressive increase of cell volume.
