Abstract

HERNANDEZ, Silvia. El pensamiento de la comunidad: un aporte para pensar las relaciones entre sujeto, espacio y ciudad. Enfoques [online]. 2011, vol.23, n.1, pp.45-56. ISSN 1669-2721.

This article proposes to approach the contemporary relationship between the subject and the city from a perspective that combines some aspects of the so-called "community thinking" (which sees community from a viewpoint different from the usual) with the questioning that Heidegger -and Derrida deepens with different shades of meaning- poses to the different ways in which western metaphysics conceived the relationship between subject and space. We reflect upon the idea of community that underlies gated communities.

Keywords : Community; Subject; Space; City; Gated communities.
