Abstract

The aim of this article is to present some reflections about the impact of the Universal Child Allocation (Asignación Universal por hijo [AUH]) from the perspective of the mothers of secondary student. It is based on part of a study about the beneficiary's appraisals about the AUH. The results suggest that the AUH works such as device of State's re-cognition of these social groups, in an inclusive way based on social and economic reactivation that generates expectations in the future employment of the children. In this respect the school is a tool to develop a work culture based on cooperativism.
