Abstract

This study aims to understand the liberal political discourses contained in the newspapers between 1812-1814, regarding the legitimizing of the new authority and establish principles of educational socialibity to people through the press. The hermeneutic process originated in case studies that allowed to understand the discourses underlying newspapers, focusing on two main issues: the liberal discoursive language and the education of the new illustrated language within the period studied.
