Abstract

TUMINO, Marisa; POITEVIN, Evelyn  and  SAPIA, Carina. From a Reflective Look on Accreditation to the Vocational Training by Competences. Enfoques [online]. 2017, vol.29, n.2, pp.1-26. ISSN 1669-2721.

This research analyzed the opinions of students regarding the appropriateness of the self-assessment-accreditation process in their vocational training, according to the aims of the course, and interpreted the underlying tendencies. Additionally, the study obtained the perception of the level of development of the professional competencies proposed in the curriculum. When focusing on the process of accreditation and its implications on the vocational training of the students, the results show a tendency to the sustained development of the competencies of the professional profile. Since every process of change involves a period of adaptation and readjustment, the students appreciate the initiatives of change as opportunities of improvement and resource optimization.
