Abstract

CUESTA, Micaela. To Politicize Political Economy: An Epistemic Dialogue. Enfoques [online]. 2017, vol.29, n.2, pp.27-49. ISSN 1669-2721.

The present work reviews Nancy Fraser’s central theses which put forward the hypothesis that asserts that the possible country, economy and society projects for the current Argentina will have a political culture component of greater significance than that prevailing in nearby countries. It is suspected that practical-political reason receives boundless regulatory burden from experience and history. In this context I will enquire into the possibility of converging the fraserian notion of social justice with a democratic interpretation of Carl Schimitt’s concept of the political. The purpose is to review the urgency of a new critique of political economy.

Keywords : Justice; Political economy; Democracy.
