Abstract

ROLDAN, Alberto F.. Thinking God from the Mediations of the Face and the Flesh according to Jean-Luc Marion’s Phenomenology. Enfoques [online]. 2021, vol.33, n.1, pp.64-86. ISSN 1669-2721.

This paper analyzes the way in which Jean-Luc Marion, in his phenomenology, pro poses the consideration of the face of one’s neighbor -and the flesh- as mediations to regard God from the human perspective. First, the author refers to the issue of the “saturated phenomena”. Then, he analyzes the issue of the face of the neighbor as a saturated phenomenon. In the third place, he presents the issue of the flesh as anoth er saturated phenomenon. The paper finishes with a few conclusions that consider the spaces of the face of the neighbor and the flesh as possibilities to regard God from the incarnation of the Logos.
