Abstract

CALDERON, Carlos. Mrs. Urraca de Moscoso: from the chronicle to a will. Profile from a galician noble lady in the second half of the XV century. Aljaba [online]. 2007, vol.11, pp.211-228. ISSN 1669-5704.

Mrs. Urraca de Mocoso's will, wrote and signed by herself, who died in 1498, on a fertile interbreeding with Vasco de Aponte's Recuento de las Casas Antiguas del Reino de Galicia (Reencounter of the Ancient Houses of the Galician Kingdom), will enable to trace a brief outline of her journey of life, her contingencies and an approach to her day to day life, which will bring more light over her femenine roles as a female member of the violent Galizian royalty, which channelling turned to be one of the main tasks of the "Reyes Católicos".

Keywords : Will; Journey of life; Feminine roles.
