Abstract

The objective of this review is to evaluate the pregnancy rate in crossbred cows in the transfer of bovine embryos through the use of two methods of synchronization of heat at fixed time with equine chorionic gonadotropin hormone and with physiological serum (control group). The transfer of embryos is a technique for the genetic improvement of cattle that is currently being widely disseminated in our country; Thanks to the existence of genetic improvement programs and the spread of artificial insemination, however, it presents difficulties in heat detection and, above all, low conception rates. For the collection of information, it was necessary to implement the methodological research better known as Methodology Research where the search criteria were: “Pregnancy rate” + embryo transfer + crossbred cows; Embryo transfer + IATF synchronization methods + crossbred cows, the inclusion criteria being: Pregnancy rate + embryo transfer + crossbreed cows, Embryo transfer + IATF synchronization methods in cows, Publication since 2016, finally the exclusion criteria were: Age: below 30 months and above 60 months, Irregular estrous cycles (Abnormal), Cows without identification or reproductive record, Postpartum problems (metritis, endometritis, vaginitis and pyometra), for which it was considered as motor from searches to: academic Google. Since the mid-1970s, embryo transfer technology has been used commercially to rapidly multiply animals of valuable genetics. Subsequently, with the freezing of embryos, the possibility of moving animals between countries with sanitary barriers is created.
