Abstract
JARA, Miguel A.; BLANCO, Laura S. and MUNOZ, María E.. "Life worlds in time": Recent/Present history in the unified basic cycle of education in Río Negro. Rev. Esc. Hist. [online]. 2006, n.5, pp.301-322. ISSN 1669-9041.
The curricula proposed for secondary schools by the Educational Reformation in Río Negro, Argentina, in 1996, established that the Basic Cycle of Education (Ciclo Básico Unificado, C.B.U.) be structured in three content areas: Natural and Exact Sciences, Socio-Cultural World, and Communication and Expression. The Socio-Cultural World area is the point of departure for the analysis of history and of the didactic proposals prescribed by the curricula. The general aim of this article is to analyze the underlying temporal perspectives. To achieve this aim, a theoretical revision of the concept of ""World" is required, since it is the backbone of the different subjects that make up the area; and, in the case of history, it is the concept that materializes temporality itself, in selecting and sequencing teaching contents. Also, a first approach to Recent/Present processes in this context is attempted.
