Between 1947 and 1952, the local branch of Peronism in Bahia Blanca constituted an area of continuing intra-party confrontation characterized by the fighting between opposing factions, whose relationship revealed a particular dynamic in the management and distribution of power, regulated by local actors and indifferent to the guidelines issued by the central party agencies.
