Abstract
SANGRILLI, Carla. The combative CGT in times of the war of Falklands, 1982. Rev. Esc. Hist. [online]. 2012, vol.11, n.1. ISSN 1669-9041.
This work intends to observe the General Federation of the Work position (CGT) - legally prohibited-, led by Saúl Ubaldini, during the first months of 1982 and opposite to the conjuncture of the war of Malvinas, in April that year. The period of analysis covers two different moments with regard to the actions of the working head office. The immediate months previous to the warlike conflict, February and March, it began with the trade-union street national activity manifested in the realization of a fight plan that began formally with the manifestation of protest on March 30 against the dictatorship and the economic politics. This day was harshly repressed and its leaders were imprisoned. During the following months, from April and up to the military Argentine surrender in June, it offered his support to the "Gesta de Malvinas" and a parenthesis in the active confrontation taken forward was proposed.
