Abstract

VAZQUEZ, Estela. With regard to "Personality and Historical Mission of Salta": An approach to Atilio Cornejo thought. Rev. Esc. Hist. [online]. 2012, vol.11, n.1. ISSN 1669-9041.

The first writers who were interested in the history of Salta left a conservative, elitist, hispanist and catholic mark in the way of narrating it, coincident with their thoughts. They constituted a foundation on which these predominant and characteristical knowledge about the processes that were happening locally, were spreaded. One of Atilio Cornejo is analyzed, it can be consideded paradigmatic of this way to conceive and write the local history.
