Abstract

TAMBELLA, Franco. King Ferdinand's journey to Naples: The reorganization of patronage networks to stabilize the kingdom, 1506-1507. Rev. Esc. Hist. [online]. 2015, vol.14, n.2, pp.00-00. ISSN 1669-9041.

King Ferdinand traveled to Naples at the end of 1506 to ensure the regno within the orbit of the Crown of Aragon. After the Great Captain's victory and the death of Isabel la Católica, the king needed to reframe patronage relations with the barons of southern Italian peninsula, to integrate Naples to the Iberian crown.
