Abstract

ALZUGARAY, Santiago; MEDEROS, Leticia  and  SUTZ, Judith. Scientific research contributing to social inclusion. Rev. iberoam. cienc. tecnol. soc. [online]. 2011, vol.6, n.17, pp.11-30. ISSN 1850-0013.

The paper explores the feasibility to contribute to solving problems derived from social exclusion with the support of scientific research, among other factors. The exploration is based on an analytical path consisting, first, in the systemic identification of the actors involved in the process and, second, in the follow-up of the journey that goes from the  existence of the problem of social inclusion until its resolution. Finally, the analytical path is illustrated and tested with concrete examples of the Uruguayan experience.

Keywords : Social inclusion; Scientific research; System.
