Abstract
GALASO, José Antonio. Cornellà CitiLab. Rev. iberoam. cienc. tecnol. soc. [online]. 2013, vol.8, n.23, pp.249-258. ISSN 1850-0013.
The article describes Living Labs as models of innovation that change the paradigm of environments and systems that were used up to date for this type of processes. We see Living Labs as living ecosystems where several actors play different roles and which generate a culture of innovation that is capable of ensuring innovation projects from the very first moments of co-design and co-creation with every stakeholder. We approach this article from two different perspectives. Firstly, we discuss the format of the ecosystem, its actors and participants and which steps they have to take in order to create it. Following this, we describe how to get involved on a day to day basis into this culture of innovation and the innovative projects that are being implemented under this paradigm in order to sustain the project. We also add two examples about the work that is being carried out in CitiLab that will help us to illustrate the main purpose of this article
