Abstract

This paper discusses the existence of a new social context in which a new way of  research and a new university profile may be necessary. Since the way of research has not changed -except from a "social" point of view: how and how fast researchers are in contact among themselves-, the ever-growing need of social inclusion and the ever- growing importance of relevancy and interdiscipline should start to be taken into account.
