The Kardar-Parisi-Zhang equation (KPZ) represents one of most prominents examples for generic scale invariant non-equilibrium systems, with the addition of showing a dynamic phase transition between two different regimes of scale.They have used variational methods to obtain NEP suggests that this equation as a gradient flow and analytical calculations have been performed and implemented algorithms inspired by this potential. The results outlined areas preponderance of the various terms of the KPZ equation for short and long times.
