Abstract
AGUERO, Mónica B. Measurement of entanglement evolution of a pulsed entangled photon pairs. An. AFA [online]. 2015, vol.26, n.3, pp.148-153. ISSN 0327-358X.
The design and characterization of a pulsed source of correlated photons is presented. Polarization-entangled pairs of photons are generated using the process of spontaneous parametric down-conversion in a two-BBO-I crystal geometry. The crystals are pumped with a ns-pulse Q-switched laser at 355 nm wavelength. The correlated photon pairs are therefore produced in the peak photon detection efficiency of silicon avalanche photodiodes (710 nm). We report the time-resolved measurement of the SCHSH parameter and the quantum Concurrence. The averaged values obtained for this source are SCHSH = (2.64 ± 0.01) and C = (0.84 ± 0.06). We record the time of the detection of each single photon (time-stamping) and in all the tests the number of coincidences are determined after the experiment has ended.
