This article aims at describing and analyzing the dynamics of a knowledge construction space named "Reunión de Consenso" (Consensus Meeting), held in the National Weather Services (NWS) in Argentina; with the purpose of generating the quarterly climate forecast. The meeting involved several academic, technical, operative and scientific institutions, all users of the climate information. Through and ethnographic approach, in a broad way, we will analyze the socio-cultural and institutional aspects involved in the production of climate information as well as the complexities and challenges that emerge in the provision of climate services. In a specific way we will focus in the official institution the National Weather Services describing which are some of the concerns and reflections that emerge inside the climate community, but also shared by the institutional spectrum with operational and scientific responsibility that participate in the meeting.
