For several decades in Chile, there have been social upheavals that question the neoliberal policies implemented more than four decades ago. The streets have become the stage for the expression of the unrest prevailing in Chilean society, which manifests in various and creative ways. This study is part of an ethnographic process carried out in collaboration with the Chilean collective Memorarte Arpilleras Urbanas. It delves into the artivist practice of the arpilleras, which has not only nurtured but also significantly contributed to the diversification of strategies for visibilizing social demands.

Keywords : arpilleras; artivism; social unrest; the street, Memorarte.
