Abstract

HORWITZ, Victoria D.. Quantity Or Quality?: How Much And When To Publish. Intersecciones antropol. [online]. 2008, n.9, pp.229-239. ISSN 1850-373X.

This paper reflects on how young researchers can design strategies of scientific production, given that the amount of publication generated weighs heavily on future job opportunities. Particularly, the way of measuring quality of scientific publication is presented here, and how this should be taken into account. Finally, this paper suggests a general framework to plan strategies for the publication of research results.

Keywords : Impact factor; Peer review; Design and strategies for scientific production.
