This paper presents the results of archaeological and bioarchaeological studies on rescued material carried out by the archaeologist Ana Maria Biset in the Loma de la Lata site (LLL) in 1988. This was a hunter-gatherer cemetery of Late Holocene that presents similarities with near and far sites regarding chronology, environment, mortuary practices, spatial redundancy, age profiles and artifact types. It is argued about network exchanges and mobility of goods between social groups reflecting population growth processes and territorial jurisdiction. Finally, relations with the south-central Chile, Cuyo, the Pampas region, the province of Buenos Aires, the Atlantic coast and the Central Sierras are established.
