RAC DIRECTOR´S LETTER

Writing a New Page

Jorge Thierer

1Director de la Revista Argentina de Cardiología

We begin a new year of the Argentine Journal of Cardiology in which we will celebrate its ninetieth anniversary. We have excellent news: we now have our own website at rac.sac.org.ar. The website has been updated with a bilingual version in Spanish and English, and our intention is to make it easy and intuitive to read.

Our goal for the Journal is to create a space for productive exchange, where the scientific work of Argentine cardiologists can be shared and promoted. We welcome authors from around the world to consider publishing their work with us. We want the Journal to be a place for discussion, to keep updated, meet, and grow. It is not only a place for reading, but also for writing original and short articles, opinion articles, editorials, reviews, scientific letters, comments on published work, or images in cardiology. Every paper is welcome and will be considered for publication. We urge you to read the instructions to authors carefully. This will facilitate the writing process and reduce the time needed to make a final decision.

As usual, this first issue is dedicated to cardiovascular imaging. Artificial intelligence applied to imaging plays a predominant role in the published material, but other aspects of this vital part of everyday cardiology (can we imagine cardiology without imaging tests?) are also well represented. The content originates from various sources, as desired, including original articles and letters from abroad.

Dr. Gastón Rodríguez Granillo and Dr. Mariano Falconi collaborated on editing this issue. We hope that reading it will be useful for everyone.
