Sample distributions are the key stone of statistical inference, and the normal distribution plays a basic role in estimations. This paper presents the reasoning forms that M.Sc. students show in the topic of normal distributions based on the frequency focus. It will allow an empirical development of the distribution with Fathom simulations. Thus, this investigation answers the question, which are the reasoning forms that Mathematical Education master students show on the normal distribution by means of simulation problems in Fathom?.
