Abstract

The methodologies used in the teaching-learning process should constantly be revised. Teaching sciences requires working not with terms used in daily life, there for, the game allows the student to assimilate these terms, because that enables living situation of control and rules, teaching concepts moral of and ethics. To facilitate the teaching process, a board game was created and tested to auxiliate the zoology classes. The board game was used in the classroom, which was intermediated by the application of questionnaires that evaluated its efficiency. This work had as main public students of 6th series, of a state school of the municipal district of Aracaju-SE. The game produced good results reflected by the improvement of the notes and great assimilation of the contents, showing that the variables gender and age influenced the results.
