Abstract

SOUSA, Renata Teófilo de. GeoGebra 3D in teaching Quadrics: possibilities of Didactic Transposition through geometric visualization. Rev. electrón. investig. educ. cienc. [online]. 2022, vol.17, n.1, pp.22-34. ISSN 1850-6666.  http://dx.doi.org/10.54343/reiec.v17i1.297.

This article is based on the cut of a master's research and brings an investigation about the teaching of quadrics in Analytical Geometry. The objective of this work is to present a didactic proposal for approaching quadrics, with emphasis on their didactic transposition using GeoGebra 3D, aiming to help students understand their canonical and graphic forms. The methodology adopted for this work is Didactic Engineering, in its first two phases - preliminary analysis and a priori analysis - bringing an epistemological and didactic study on the teaching of quadrics and the use of GeoGebra 3D as a resource for its didactic transposition, enabling its teaching in a visual and interactive way. As a result of this article, we present a construction that explores a manipulation of quadrics, relating the canonical equations to their graphic images in E³, serving as a theoretical basis for the undergraduate student and future mathematics teacher.
