Abstract

SALGADO, Diana P.. Functioning of didactic gestures in a university-level mathematics course during the pandemic. Rev. electrón. investig. educ. cienc. [online]. 2022, vol.17, n.1, pp.35-49. ISSN 1850-6666.  http://dx.doi.org/10.54343/reiec.v17i1.298.

This article presents a didactic-gestures functioning analysis in a mathematic course at university level in Public Account and Bachelor’s degree in Enterprises Administration careers. The classes were developed in a non-presential environment. They are characterized by encouraging the study and the investigation typical of the Pedagogy of the Investigation and Questioning the World (PIQW) proposed by the Anthropological Theory of the Didactic (ATD). Indicators of certain didactic gestures functioning that could be associated in part to the dialectics, essential didactical gestures in the implementation of this new pedagogy that tries to break with the traditional paradigm of teaching, are detailed. The students show, between others, study and investigation, diffusion and reception gestures and that of the reading and writing, that leads to meet with mathematical knowledge.

Keywords : teaching by investigation; mathematic; university.
