Distance college courses rely on Virtual Environments for Teaching and Learning (VETLs). These platforms generate information that can be interpreted as behaviors of use that participants show using the tools that support the communication process of teaching-learning mediated by technology. It is assumed that these behaviors are correlated with use that each student makes of course contents. In this paper is proposed a process of information mining aimed at finding behavior patterns of students taking the course by second chance and they do in version mediated by VETL.
