Abstract

ASSINNATO, Gisela; SANZ, Cecilia; GORGA, Gladys  and  MARTIN, María Victoria. Attitudes and perceptions of teachers and students in relation to ICT: Review of the literature. Rev. iberoam. tecnol. educ. educ. tecnol. [online]. 2018, n.22, pp.7-17. ISSN 1851-0086.

In this work, diverse studies analyzing the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) in teaching and learning processes, in high education institutions, are reviewed. This paper focalizes on the analyses of different variables related with the attitudes and the perceptions of students and teachers using ICT in educational scenarios. According to this motivation, different previous researches carried out at different countries were selected, considering a methodological process of bibliographic systematic revision. The studies that have been reviewed open reflections on the use of digital technologies in educational scenarios, considering individual and interrelated variables. Not only advantages and disadvantages usually referred by the authors are discussed, but also the necessary skills and institutional barriers/possibilities are considered. A synthesis and an analysis of the state of the art related with this research topic are presented here, in which the similarities and differences among the authors involved are highlighted. These debates contribute to the research related with the improvement of educational practices.
