Abstract

FILIPPI, José Luis; LAFUENTE, Guillermo; BALLESTEROS, Carlos  and  BERTONE, Rodolfo. Assessment of Learning in a Pandemic Period. Rev. iberoam. tecnol. educ. educ. tecnol. [online]. 2021, n.28, pp.396-402. ISSN 1851-0086.

In March 2020, the Argentine government declared an indefinite quarantine after the appearance of the COVID-19 virus that affects all sectors of society and of which nothing was known to be able to mitigate its actions. [1]. The confinement situation led to the suspension of all face-to-face activities, and virtual actions were immediately proposed as an alternative. Argentina enters a general state of emergency, closing all public institutions, schools, clubs, banks, shops, and public hospitals being the main institution that should serve the population affected by this unknown disease. In a hurry, the educational activity began to work in a virtual way, teachers and students had to incorporate the use of web and mobile applications, which facilitated social and educational encounters, content distribution, information exchange, etc. A 100% virtual training emerges, without face-to-face support, thus hoping to overcome the situation of social distancing as a result of the pandemic. In this work we propose to detail the process of evaluating learning in the development of our professional practice under this new scenario. The work was implemented during 2020 in the subjects Introduction to Computer Science and Procedural Programming of the Programmer Analyst and Systems Engineering careers taught at the Faculty of Engineering of the UNLPam.
