Abstract

SALAZAR, Julián  and  MOLAR, Rocío. COMPARATIVE STUDY OF TWO VILLAGE SITES OF THE FIRST MILLENNIUM AD IN TUCUMÁN, ARGENTINA. Comechingonia [online]. 2017, vol.21, n.1, pp.1-10. ISSN 1851-0027.

This paper presents a comparative framework in order to address the material built environments in two settlements of first millennium of the Christian Era, located in the southern and oriental piedmont of the Cumbres Calchaquíes. The two case studied are La Bolsa 1, in the northern Tafí Valley, and Mortero Quebrado, in the high basin of the Anfama river. The approach is aimed at characterizing similarities and differences in different features and scales of the objective structures and practices of agents, materialized through: landscape, households and food.
